Yea I’m good with the 3 bigs, especially with their skill level.

I don't that'd work at all. There'd be no spacing at all and very poor ball handling.

Unseld also probably wouldn't be able to hang in the modern environment.

But of course this concept isn't fair to old-timers in general.

Ehh, I disagree with a lot of this.

What era the game is played does matter though. Nowadays this lineup would be tough.

Other eras, It would be fine.

Well it would hypothetically be played using modern basketball philosophy as well as some modern players.

This lineup could somewhat work against players of Unseld's day because there weren't 3 pointers, and those guys largely wouldn't be able to compete against more modern players. Chris Webber would be pretty unfair in 1972.

Also, Unseld and Malone are pretty redundant regardless of the era issue.
