Pretty cool but I am sure it’ll be overrun with shitbird Red Sox fans.
I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

It looks like tickets are only available to little league players and their family. So that may balance the crowd away from sox fans.

Good news! I saw a dog today.

Don't think they'd allow it but scalping them can offset some of the costs. You will see plenty of Saux fans.

....where they will lose to the light blue team sponsored by Jerry’s Auto Parts, earning them postgame ice cream.

Nice idea.   Of course we give up the home game though.

We will show the kids, how close they are in talent to major leaguers

So this is happening in 10 days.  Counts as a home game for the O's.

I wonder if they do special field prep for this game.  On one hand I'm sure major leaguers understand the importance of community outreach for things like this, especially since there's a decently high likelihood that the players in the LLWS are going to end up playing in the majors.  On the other hand, it must feel bad to play an MLB game in a rookie-ball stadium.
