Flacco earned the honor by completing 21 of 29 passes, 72.4 percent accuracy, for 299 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions during a 44-13 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday night.

Flacco had a 128.4 passer rating as Baltimore (1-0) posted the most yards of total offense with 430 in the AFC with a conference-high 7.4 yards per play.

His command of the offense was outstanding. I truly believe Caldwell showing up with Peyton Manning's playbook is sending Flacco straight to the next level.

Gotcha. I just noted the headline being NFL, and not AFC. :)

Chiming in on this a little late, and sorry for the delay.

Joe looked great! I just hope that this is going to be a new look for Joe and the Ravens Offense. I really like the no huddle and how we worked in various run/pass packages. I wouldn't mind seeing this uptempo style offense with a little two/three headed monster in the backfield with Rice, Allen and Pierce. I really like the tripple threat and it will do us great with this new no huddle that Cam and Joe and running this season.

More to come here in Baltimore and I really like the Ravens this week -- I just have some decision to make with my FF Team since I have Vick and RGIII -- what do you think Baltimore....who should I start?
