Stowers should be penciled into one of the starting corner OF spots and looking at 500+ plate appearances. He's got nothing left to prove at AAA.
He will be. Since they didn't bring in any real hitters, it'll be Hays in LF, Stowers in RF, and Santander at DH against RHP most of the time.
Stowers probably to the bench when Adley goes to DH, with Santander back to RF. But could occasionally see Stowers in LF or Rutschman to 1B on those days. Will depend on how well everyone is hitting and if Stowers can play LF competently.
Against LHP it'll be interesting to see what they do.

I think an effective Kyle Stowers is one way the Orioles can over achieve.

Seems weird to bench him vs LHP when he had a 2.750 OPS against them last year
What do you mean that's a small sample?

Would expect him to play today. I'm expecting he gets 450 abs this year.

Maybe we should start a pool and see who guesses closest.
With todays lineup I am thinking he's going to be lucky to sniff 350.

Not sure what Hyde is doing, but I'll assume he knows something we all do not.
There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note
"Now OPS sucks. Got it."
"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."
"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

Exactly 500 PAs in AAA across 21/22 and he had a .863 OPS with 22 homers in 117 games, a 30-HR pace across 162 games. Find it hard to believe more time at level he's already familiar with and handled pretty well is benefitting him at this point.

Stowers has been mismanaged by the organization so far this year. They should have kept one of the left handed first baseman.
It was a poor decision by Elias and company to put Stowers onto the roster and then not use him.

Yeah if Stowers started like 60% of the time or something in that range it'd be fine and I'm not asking for much beyond that but it's odd to treat a productive AAA hitter in a pretty solid sample like he's a pinch runner or whatever
