I think most fans will eagerly embrace the new Orioles players. Oddly, the present excitement is about the FO, analysts and statistics gathering. Maybe they should sell Sig Mejdal jerseys :D

But it will be strange and somewhat sad to watch O's games without the Captain roving in CF.

Sizzle is probably at the top of my fav Ravens list. It's not just about the probable HOF caliber of game he brought. As Rob mentioned, it was the fun, the big personality and swagger. Unlike some self-aggrandizing athletes, his personality never left me with the feeling that he was trying to upstage those around him, or disrespecting an opponent. I still remember the footage of him in Cleveland, doing his Django Unchained thing, and talking to the Dog-pound fans. It was all positive and fun.

For me, the changing of the guard is obviously necessary at this time. And while I'm confident that other quality, even equally talented, players will come along, it's difficult to imagine they will bring the same level of entertaining personality that we were lucky enough to see from AJ and Sizzle

Good news! I saw a dog today.
