If so, what were the highlights?
If not, what will you be looking to change in '19? (If it is something that you can change.)

First half was terrible, second half has been good. Hopefully can keep that trend going.
If you are going to have divergent splits, ending on a positive note sounds like a good thing!

Best year of my life.
-Moved to the North Bethesda/Garret Park area (5 minutes from work)
-Started living and have met a great group of amazing people
-Entered 2018 at 340 lbs, should finish 2018 at around 235'ish
-Practiced meditation daily, mindfulness has changed my life and my relationship with my thoughts
-Overcame many fears and doubts and am finally having healthy relationships, and dating has been a ton of fun
-Developed and executed on a great Relationship Sales program that has taken my career to the next level
Many of you remember the loooooonnnng post last winter about everything I was struggling with. Appreciate all of you, and for your understanding as I spent a good part of this year on edge and that certainly came through on here.

Our year ended on an awful note (as yall know), but before then, it was a pretty solid year.
My job has been great, my family has been great. Had a couple good vacations, and the kid is killing it in math like his daddy.
2019 is going to suck, but you know...I've had 2 straight good years. Bring it the fuck on. I'm ready.

The year for the most part has been pretty par for the course. I have a good life with a wonderful family and a great group of friends. I dislike my job very much but it pays me rather a lot of money and quite frankly I bitch about it more than I should. The best thing that happened to me this year is the birth of my first grandchild, Grayson Knox Hedrick. He is a wonderful child that is always smiling. Love him to pieces and am so very happy for him!

That's awesome man! Wow more than 100lbs lost, that isn't easy, good for you. Keep it up! I have often thought about meditation and read a lot of stuff published by the Dalai Lama, but haven't yet gone there. If you haven't read it yet, try the "Art of Happiness" written by him, it is inspirational to say the least. I think I will try meditation in 2019. How did you get into it, reading or a class??

AYCE WINGS TO CELEBRATE! >_>
Seriously, I'm really proud of you, my guy. You've earned this point in your life.

Pretty good year.
Got engaged, got a promotion both in salary and title at work. With better MLB players comes better/more fun opportunities for me too on the marketing end of things.
On smaller notes my kickball team finally won our league, I'm in my fantasy football championship for $1500.
2019 should be a good/busy year too.

There's an app you can get on your phone called "Insight Timer" has hundreds of free meditation/relaxation exercises for use. It's worth checking out.

As DuffMan said, Insight Timer has been my go to. But I'd also do some reading about meditation just to make sure you understand how it really works. I think most people meditate to try and change their thoughts/emotions, but that's not really how it works. It's all about gaining a deeper understanding of your thoughts, and therefore changing your relationship with them. I've also listened to several podcasts like "It's All Happening" and others on the "Be Here Now" network of podcasts. My favorite Podcast by far is Duncan Trussell Family Hour. The Tibetan definition of meditation is to know yourself. So think of it that way. It's not about changing anything, it's about knowing. Let that guide your consciousness, that is true meditation. Don't think of it as only sitting and meditating, it's actually a compass. Always willing to talk about this off line if you do decide to get into it. It has truly changed my life.

You forgot "Hung out with Antoine & Seth" at Glory Days, but whatever..
Seriously, really happy for you brother. You deserve only good things! Keep rollin!

As for me, really good year personally, my wife and I celebrated our 20th Wedding Anniversary and my kids (16 & 13) are both thriving in school and socially, can't ask for much more than that. I think I've finally kicked my years long issue with insomnia to the curb, getting about 5-6 hours of sleep per night, which for me is amazing (thank you, hemp bombs).
Job wise, things are great, and with gambling being legalized, the sky's the limit on that end.
2019 should be awesome, taking my son to Chapel Hill to check out a game for the first time in February (with Antoine too, of course), going to ballgames, the beach....etc until my busy work time starts again in August.

Very good year.
Did some stuff around the house: installed hardwood in our last bedroom, remodeled the basement adding a propane fireplace and got a new 4K TV down there...
Went to Chicago and Sicily.
Had a scare with my 90 y/o grandfather earlier this year. Got pneumonia, thought it would be the end of him, but he recovered in full.
Without kids the years are blurring into the same year over and over again, though. Hard to believe I'll be 40 next year.
