Yea, he just got married. Justin is a good guy, a good coach, who came up under Hall of Famer ‘Moo’ Makosy, after playing at Bowie St and Reservoir. I saw him get inducted to Reservoir’s Hall of Fame last season, at halftime of a Gators basketball game. Full Disclosue; My brother coached at Resi’ for 7 years, leading them to a pair of Final 4’s, including last year’s 3A state title game.
Looks like Coach Carey is now an assistant coach at Archbishop Spalding. Congrats to him!

Yea, I saw him last week with Troy Gibson and Luke Casey, the Atholton/Spalding contingent, celebrating Troy’s birthday at Looney’s, and he told me.

The Atholton job is now open to all comers, now, after no one in-county applied, from what I was told by several people close to the matter.

Was up at CHC for the games against Mcdonogh an Spalding an some parents said the d coach at MSJ rolled out and the head coach is heading back to public school. This is crazy if true they are loaded next year, someone will be getting a stack team.
Not true heard same rumor. Public school everyone mentions is an in county hire or a guy supposedly from So Maryland. This MSJ demise rumor seems to pop up every year at some point.

There may have been a post or two with a ‘demise of MSJ rumor’ that I may have missed, but nothing compares to the ‘demise of SFA outcry’ over the last 8 years (pre-Biff and on, and on, and on). There have been about 43 threads and 2,437 posts devoted to it. In fact, this forum began as that being its thesis. Right now, those prognostications rank far behind the broken clock theory. All that’s been proven since are national top 5 and top 10 finishes.
