I’ve never been a fan of them it gives the athlete a sense of entitlement that doesn’t show up on the field of play in most cases imo

Especially linemen. Most of those stars are given on the eye test

You are right about that. I see kids that are 4stars that trip over their own feet but they are 6’5 and 300lbs. Lazy evaluators.

I was in a heavy debate with some recruiters last night and I called them out on their fraudulent stars while some college coaches were there and I was brutally honest the thise schools in that they are chasing too many stars and not enough good football players

Big men with decent footwork will always get noticed even if they are unpolished in high school. You can’t teach big.
