NYC Transit Museum
Underground Transit Museum in London
Locally, The Walters is free and awesome. Same with B&O Railroad Museum.
Yes, I’m a transit nerd.

The Negro League Baseball Museum in Kansas City is great, especially if you happen to be there when Bob Kendrick is leading a tour.

The Walters and BMA are both free and good, but the American Visionary Art Museum is one of my favorite art museums in the country.

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

I also really like the Imperial War Museum in London. I love looking at all of those WWII tanks.

I'm ashamed to admit I've never been.

They’re obviously world famous but both the Louvre and Musee d’orsay in Paris are excellent.
I liked the d'Orsay better.
And shit I must have missed it. How was your trip?

Long lol. But very glad I did it.
I can definitively say I like Rome better than Paris. Although Paris was awesome.
I’m amazed at how efficient both cities transit systems are. I never waited more than 3 minutes for a train
Versailles made me realize why they eventually executed the monarchs lol.

Want to get back to Rome. I have a night's layover in Rome next month on the way back from Sicily. We have a hotel at the airport for the night and the wife got called away for work in Germany so I will be there by myself. I get into Rome airport at like, 6:30 and I am debating whether to take a train into the city for a few hours, poke around, grab a bite, then head back. I did like Rome when I was there in 2007...I think I'd give the edge to Paris, so I want to see it again.

Also went to Les Papilles per your recommendation. They had beef shoulder that was soaked overnight in some broth.
It was mouth wateringly good.
Awesome.
I sent my uncle and aunt there, a couple of friends, and you. They all said it was amazing. Glad I could have been of service.

The one in Montgomery was the best imo at showing the problems that still exist and it also has an accompanying lynching memorial, which is extremely powerful.

The Natural History Museum is one of my favorites. The one in New York is also fantastic.
The National Museum of the American Indian is great as well. The Museum of Anthropology in Vancouver also excels at displaying Native American history and culture.

I find museums that have historical artifacts in it to be very interesting. Some of the things Mike has mentioned would be interesting to see.
I went to the 9/11 museum in NY. Quieter than a library in there. Probably one of those things everyone should go to at least once.
Speaking of museums, I’m going to a wedding at the Museum of Industry this weekend..been to another wedding there before. Pretty interesting place.

I would rather have a route canal than go to an art museum.

Who could have guessed that Rob wouldn't be into art museums?
And yeah, the Museum of Industry is a great place to get married!
