Sure. But once you go racial, forget it. You lose any grounds you had to do anything.

I dunno, man.....

I can see why people want to limit bus service to the mall. I think it's the wrong approach to addressing the issue of crime/safety issues.

Any crime/safety issue can be reduced if you don’t have people hanging around a certain area for a period of time.

It's not surprising that some people made/ circulated this flier.

And while most people wouldn't get behind this flier, I'm sure more than a few people have racist feelings influencing their opinions on this matter.

Getting away from the racial aspect of this...

Groups of unsupervised teenagers, regardless of race, often cause problems. That's just the age people are most likely to do dumb and/or violent actions. Then ad teenager group dynamics and no supervision and trouble will often follow.

Right and for the chatter I have heard about it up here, this is really what the focus is about.

The SunAnne Arundel prosecutor cites light rail in drug overdose crisis

I just want to say, first, that I was pleasantly surprised reading this article. When I saw the headline, I thought for sure it was going to be a statement about "that element" coming out of the city to foist drugs on the innocent youth of the county. So to have it actually involve him wanting to prevent people from going into the city for drugs and coming back out to OD is almost honorable.

Of course it ignores the points that:

1. Are you going to ban cars, too? Or at least put up a checkpoint on Ritchie Highway?

2. The police themselves say that there's no evidence for the light rail being a contributor to the problem.

Man, I gotta say...that headline does NOT do that article justice, I agree.
