It's stuff like that why I'm always touting how great rebels is.   They have this entirely self contained story and they've been able to seamlessly integrate events and characters from the movies without  it feeling forced or shoehorned in for a cheap pop.    Not to go on a Lucas rant, but I don't think he could've come up with a simpler/cooler  "time travel" idea that fit so well.

I loved clone wars the same way, and watched Rebels up through the last season. But we moved, and I had to redo my DVR que, by the time I got around to it I had missed most of the season.

Yeah it's pretty perfect. It's kinda that whole thing I have always wondered, and touched it JUST enough without being like HERE it is!

Is it just me or is no one really hyped for this movie.
I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

I actually could care less about this one.  I thought the first two were incredibly average with the first almost being a regurgitation of episode IV.  I may watch it just to end the trilogy but I could really give a shit.

It'll be the first movie I see in theaters since...the last one I think.

On a related note looks like we are going to get an Obi Wan series with Ewan McGregor

This sums it up for me.

If they're going to go back and show the whole thing with Luke and the Knights, that could be interesting. We got that brief flashback or two. I'd like to know how R2 came to just be shut down in a basement, under a tarp.

Other than general curiosities, I'll go see it as a matter of procedure. Sterile and disconnected, just like these movies have felt in relationship to the broader SW universe.

Good news! I saw a dog today.

Visuals look great.  The Palpetine thing still worries me.

Expectations are going to be sky high for this one.  I don't see everyone loving this movie/ending but will most?

My other big worry is the Rey equation.  Count me in the camp hoping that she is just a "nobody" and not a Skywalker/Solo/Kenobi possible sibbling to Ren.

The over analysis of these movies always make me laugh.

Not that we don’t all do it about certain things of course..just funny to me when people do it for Star Wars

Like what? Talk about the biggest running question through the first two movies?

Yeah...that's definitely some "over analysis."

I mean, if you don’t see the over analysis, I don’t know what to tell you.

People live and breathe off of what these movies are doing (or not doing).
