Those poor kids.  1/2 mile under, 10 days in darkness, no food.

It had to have been amazing for them when they saw help yesterday.

And now the still incredibly difficult task of trying to get them out.

Pretty damn awesome the way that some cave diver civilians stepped up to volunteer and help. Sadly, a thai diver did lose their life. Pretty incredible outcome. Good to hear news like this for once.

Sucks that someone died in this but to be honest, what were the odds that only 1 person would die?

Heard some bits and pieces of what they had to do, how O2 levels were down to 17%, etc...just amazing that they survived.

The one thing I always think about with something like this is how does it effect you mentally long term?  These kids need to get into some therapy immediately to try and heal them mentally.

Just read the Wikipedia article. Wow, what an operation. Kudos to everyone involved in the rescue. The divers pretty much found these kids by accident, so this is nothing short of a miracle.

I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

I gotta think that the coach, too, feels awful. Even though they all lived, he has to feel the weight of this forever. Especially since a person died to save them.

I love how he's been sitting on that joke for so long.

So is Mark Wahlburg gonna play the coach or one of the divers when the movie comes out in November?

Amazing story.  Amazing job by the dive team, all heroes.  Can't imagine the ordeal.

I've still yet to find an explanation how they got so deep into the cave in the first place.  Something doesn't add up.
