Didn’t mean to step on anyone’s toes. We had a guy on the Sun’s HS Message Board who compiled a much more extensive pick ‘em thread but he took his ball and ran to the MoCo Message Board because SFA spanked McDonogh’s ass a few times in the last few seasons. Just trying to stimulate conversation.
I feel like this is getting dangerously close to Pedro’s Pickz....

I’m out of the country right now, so limited access to Internet. Haven’t seen any of their games, not sure if they were broadcast or not. But I was told, they only have 37 kids on the roster. That a bunch of their returning players quit, players that they were counting on. Kids who are stars in other sports, like lacrosse and basketball. Like the Rayuan Lane kid, who was a youth league superstar in both Football and basketball. And their lacrosse studs, Jack Witherspoon and Billy Spillman. Both were big parts of the team last year. No longer playing. They would have made a huge difference. Starting 6 ninth graders. Will be a long season. They might not win a game.
I will give the coach a pass for this season, let’s see how he recruits and coaches next year, after having a full year in the program. Gilman might be turning into more of a basketball school. Because they’re bringing in kids by the boatload in that sport.
I hope the boatload of basketball players aren't transfers. Ijs

Why? They’re ninth graders but why would you care if they were transfers? Gilman has one of the best ninth grade classes in the area.

Listen GA we will talk basketball in Nov right now it’s foitball season how are your Greypups doing
They’re horrible. Might be worst team in school history. Would be shocked if they won a game. Made a major mistake not hiring MSJ coach, and said it to the Headmaster before he hired the GA guy. I hear the guy is a great coach, but the Bmore area is about recruiting as much as it’s about coaching.

BOAB, I disagree on your Dunbar, City and CHC picks. City crushed TJ last year 34-0 and gets back 8 (my source) or 14 (Varsity Sports Network) players from a 1-game suspension. Unless TJ has the best recruiting class ever and several talented transfers, City should pull it out. Wise barely beat CHC at home last year. CHC turns the tables this season. I did pick Glenelg over Howard but I don’t know jack about HoCo football.Potomac# @ Dunbar

Loyola ‘s not in the A Conference this year, Gooch. Gilman is the worst team in the league, hands down. The other teams could all finish tied for first. My math may not be right but I’m sure some math wiz will correct me.
That bad worst than C Hall and Loyola damn

Did you see my note regarding the Howard/Glenelg game? Howard hasn't won at Glenelg in quite a while. You just might be on to something.
