There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note
"Now OPS sucks. Got it."
"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."
"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

Sharks just pulled off the most ridiculous win I've ever seen. In a game 7 too.
Vegas leads 3-0. 10 minutes to go. They get a 5 minute major meaning power play for five whole minutes. Not cancelled when a goal is scored.
Sharks score 4 goals in the 5 minute power play to take the lead. Then Vegas ties the game with 47 seconds left to force overtime.
Sharks win it OT. Crazy crazy stuff.

Handing out a 5 minute major with 10 ish minutes to go in game 7 is a ballsy call to make. I hope we don't see anything like that tonight.

Looking at the hit, it probably should have been a 4 min minor since he was bleeding.

I feel like they could have issued two penalties. 2 minutes for the cross check and 4 minutes for the second guy who finished the hit unnecessarily. Made it a 5 on 3 for two minutes and a power play for two minutes after. Of course then it’s even strength after they make it 3-2. The major penalty was huge.Looking at the hit, it probably should have been a 4 min minor since he was bleeding.
Also, Fluery straight up choked too. Can’t give up 4 power play goals. I think the Sharks were 0-4 on power plays before that 5 minute major came.
Yes. No BS tonight please. Feel like the Caps shouldn’t even be here. But glad it’s at home. Score early and often.
