I'll caveat my post with the observation that almost every piece of advice I've given this season has ended up being wrong :)

Playoff time!

Rivers v Cincy or Ben @ Oakland?

I'm thinking Rivers since Ben has been shaky lately and is on the road.  My biggest worry is that the Chargers get up by a ton and dont need to throw.  That happened a few weeks ago against Arizona.  If Conner is out, Pittsburgh will be throwing a ton.

Also need a RB and a Flex among:  Joe Mixon @ LAC, Sony Michel @ Mia, James White @ Mia, and Mike Evans v NO

Strong leans towards Evans and one of the NE backs.  Mixon is the entire Cincy offense now, but I think they fall behind and won't be able to do much running.  And Bernard saw a lot of action in the passing game last week.  But which NE back?  White is the HR threat, Sony is the steady option that gets tons of touches.  Leaning Michel.

Rivers.

Can't trust Ben on the road, even if it's Oakland.

Michel/Evans

Is Jaylen Samuels worth spending the rest of my FAAB on? I've got Ertz and Gronk so set on TE personally, so thinking as a block. But the guy with Kelce is really the only other playoff team with a good TE. And my opponent this week would probably look to play Samuels if he could land him.

I'd have to drop Dalvin Cook to get him, but he's my 5th best RB and wouldn't be eligible to be kept if anyone else picked him up.

I have NE and Bal defenses, which play Mia, TB, and Buf the next 3 weeks. And I've got depth at QB and WR as well, so don't think I'd need the waiver budget for any pressing needs if I advance.

I think I'm gonna do it.

I'd go Cook because of the matchup.

So....Ertz or Samuels

They both play at 4pm. I'll have everyone but Rivers and TE done by then. My opponent will have everyone but Chargers D and Justin Jackson. I'm thinking Ertz if it's close. Samuels if I need a real big number to catch up.

ODB got hurt so Evans slides to WR for me.

Mixon, White, Gronk, or J.Samuels at flex?

I'm chasing like 40 points. Do I go Ben over Rivers and/or Samuels over Ertz for upside?

I'm thinking yes on TE. Stick with Rivers at QB.

Semifinals are here!

Big Ben vs. NE or Phil Rivers @ KC: I am leaning Ben who should have to throw all afternoon vs. NE but am a bit worried about his health, especially with my only other option between Phil on TNF.

One of: Chris Carson @ SF, Jaylen Samuels vs. NE, Matt Breida vs. SEA, Gus Edwards vs. TB, Justin Jackson @ KC. I got real lucky with my waiver adds over the last couple of weeks given other player injuries, so there's a lot of good options here. I am leaning Carson at the moment since he had 100+ yards two weeks ago vs. the 49ers but Edwards and Jackson (if Gordon is out, as is Ekeler) also have tantalizing matchups.

I'd go Rivers. Ben is not a good FF QB anymore.

Carson and Jackson all day. Ekeler and Gordon are out. Edwards will get hawked by Dixon. Plus if Flacco is back we'll run 18 times total.

For defense, I am leaning toward SEA D at SF, but I could also go BAL vs TB or DET at BUF.
