How many games does Cleveland win next year if he leaves?

20? Their 2-12 doesn't win more than that this year I wouldn't think.

Sign and trade? interesting. i guess it's possible, don't see it though.

Should be fun to watch whatever he does.

If you are GS and you are already the best, why do this anyway? Why effect any chemistry?

Well, it depends on what they trade LeBron for, if a sign and trade happens. They also have the 8th pick in a good draft.

If they do a sign and trade with LeBron, they probably end up a 30-35 win team.

If he just leaves, 25ish wins sounds right.

The reality is that is what they should want. Need to get some high picks because no FA is going to go to Cleveland.

I wouldn't, that's why i think it's a longshot. This group is about to win two in a row, 3 out of 4, and will be heavily favored again next year.

In your scenario, say it's Thompson plus their current roster, how many wins? (My phone tried to correct 'wins' with 'Wynns' btw)

This group wins 20 games tops, but yeah, they have a decent pick and will have some money to overpay a guy a come.

I don't think LeBron would do that.

Golden State may not be that interested anyway.

28-32 with Klay.

82-0 if they can get Austin Wynns to switch to basketball.

Its June 8th. The Finals arent even over. The draft hasnt happened yet. There is an essentially irrelevant message board that has 2 pages of posts on LBJs next decision. It is just disgusting.

Klay, Love, and a bunch of role players like they currently have could be reasonably competitive. Like fringe playoff team off the top of my head.

He is a FA. He has a right to go sign somewhere.

You think he should stay in Cleveland?

I think they would be more than fringe in the East...but I also think their draft pick would need to contribute right away. Adding a guy like Sexton makes a lot of sense imo.

If LBJ leaves, can Cle get rid of some of the deals on their payroll? Can they dump Thompson, Korver, etc...Csn they find a deal for Love?

If you are Cleveland, you want to start over. Get rid of as many deals as you possible can.

I guess NBA Reddit had a thread where they were debating which team would be better if you flipped LeBron for Curry and Durant. Haralabos was tweeting about it and actually choose what would be the new Warriors. I don't agree with that, but it's a lot more interesting than it should be.

I was considering with their current roster, so no draft pick.

I'll say back end of the East because it really drops off after the top 8, which obviously already included Cleveland. That team would lack a guy who'd create for others.

So, LeBron/Green/Klay or Curry/Durant/Green/Klay? And they believe that the LeBron version is better?

No, LeBron going to the Warriors and Curry and Durant to the Cavs. Which team would be better.

And I only mentioned one person who said the LeBron Warriors would be better than the Curry/Durant Cavs. I didn't read the thread so I'm not sure if there was a consensus over there.

Typical that a bunch of idiots think a 34 yr old LBJ is more valuable than Steph and Durant combined. This is why its all bullshit Ricker. This stupid mythical shit people spout off and actually believe. This is exactly why I say hes the most overrated athlete ever.
