Nice fantasy article. We should definitely get the NFL Draft if they're going to use a rotation, but I'm guessing we'll have to wait 30 years.
I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

Pier 6 would be a nice venue for it. I'd be willing to bet it's too small though. Considering the size it's becomes, I could see DC hosting it on the Lincoln Memorial, or around the reflection pool at the Washington Monument before Baltimore ever does.

The guy uses the term "major sporting event" loosely though. Swim trials? College cup? Whatever. How about a PBA event at Dave and Busters while we're at it?

Baltimore as is, not counting if they build other things, should get an MLB ASG, World Cup games. They had the CAA Tournament and I've went to that. It's fun. Mid-Majors could have their tourney here.

Perhaps they could build a Nascar facility out in the sticks. Hunt Valley, Middle River, etc... Nascar is much bigger in American popularity than the failed indy car race downtown.

20 years ago when they were making the big push to put White Marsh Boulevard through from 40 to Eastern Boulevard, there were serious talks about building a NASCAR track there.

I think if they did the draft, if they didn't want to do it inside M&T it would have to basically be on RavensWalk and Lots B/C. Which could work. Build the stage up against the stadium facade, let the draftees walk up between Johnny U and Ray. That might be neat.
