What is the quickest/easiest way to stream Os games if you get rid of cable?  (I know its talked about in the other thread but don't feel like reading all 16 pages to figure it out and it may not be as up to date)

Is it simply mlb tv or is there a cheaper way?

As far as I know, MLB tv is the way to go, although you'd need to use a VPN to disguise your location, since you live in the MASN broadcast area.  I have no idea how to do that, but I don't think it's hard.

Rob, it depends on your setup.

The best way is to switch to TMobile, because they give mlb.tv for free to all their customers during the week before opening day.

You can use a DNS switch, which is basically a VPN, to get around the block.  I used unblock-us.  It has tutorials on how to set it up in your router so its already in there.  4.99 a month.

Another option is to add a VPN extension on Chrome (I use touchVPN), which is free.  You can cast to appletv, firestick, chromecast etc to your TV from your computer.  You could even go the old fashioned route of buying a cable from your computer to TV.

Yet another option is to download a VPN for your iPad and cast to your TV in the same fashion.

MLB TV with a VPN. Totally worth it.

WTF is a VPN?  lol

Sorry, I'm really dumb when it comes to this stuff.

Is it a piece of equipment?

It changes your computers location, which is called an IP address.

When you log into mlb.tv, it looks at your IP address to determine if you are in the blackout zone.  The VPN, virtual private network, allows you to modify your IP address as you desire.

So, you can assign your IP address to be outside the blackout zone.

Tell me what gadgets you have, and I'll write down step by step instructions on how to set it up.  Its easy, I promise.

If I can (I haven't looked yet), I would just do it through Apple TV.  Not sure if MLB TV is on there or not but I think it is?

Yes, it is on apple tv.  It works really great, and I've been using that method to watch O's games since 2012.

What I would recommend is to get a VPN subscription service, like hidemyass or unblock-us.  They have step by step instructions on their websites.

You can look for yourself right here: https://support.unbl...with-Unblock-Us

Seem simple enough or too complicated?
