I'm leery of the declining K rate and the evolving pitch to contact strategy, but Cashner still looks like he has pretty good stuff.

I don't know about ST but appears to be some chatter that the low strike is out of favor this year and the high strike is in.Camden Depot:

Andrew Cashner will not make his scheduled start tomorrow due to a blister on his right middle finger, the Orioles just announced. Cashner was removed early from his last start in Houston due to the issue.
The club says it will announce tomorrow's starter after tonight's game.

He should have value to a team needing pitching.

Pretty cray he could win 16-18 games for a 45-50 win team. I wonder who has been the best pitcher on a really bad team.

Steve Carlton.
I think 1972. Won 27 games on a 59 win team.
