Mid February, College hoops winding down, NBA headed into the break, and Spring Training beginning, let's take a look at some odds for these sports:

We're about  one month from the NCAA Tourney, and here's how the odds are shaping up to win the National title:

Michigan State +425

Villanova +450

Duke +550

Virginia +550

Purdue +800

Arizona +1800

Cincinnati +1800

Kansas +2000

Ohio State +2200

Xavier +2500

Gonzaga +2800

North Carolina +3000

West Virginia +3000

Wichita State +3000

Oklahoma +3500

Auburn +4000

Tennessee +4000

It's such a crapshoot this year, and a TON of good value out there to take a flyer on.

ODDS to win the NBA Title:

Golden State -200

Cleveland +500

Houston +500

Toronto +2500

Boston +3500

Oklahoma City +3500

San Antonio +5000

Minnesota +7500

Washington +7500

Not a crapshoot at all. Dubs are deserving favorites. Obviously.

Way too early MLB Odds: (World Series Champions)

Chicago Cubs +500

New York Yankees +500

Cleveland +700

Houston +700

Los Angeles Dodgers +700

Washington +800

Boston +1400

Los Angeles Angels +2000

St Louis +2200

New York Mets +2500 (Wouldn't bet that with Pedro's money)

Milwaukee +3000

Minnesota +3000

San Francisco +3000

Toronto +3000

Arizona +3500

Colorado +3500

Seattle +6000

We'll do win totals as we get closer to the season.

I'm going to make an effort to keep the gambling section going, so if anyone (Pedro) has any ideas, feel free to post stuff.

No NHL?

Tampa +550

Vegas +600

Boston +900

Nashville +900

Pittsburgh +1000

Washington +1000 (Not a chance)

Toronto +1200

Winnipeg +1200

St. Louis +1500

Dallas +1800

.

.

.

Arizona +300,000 (Not a typo)

The way a hot goaltender of a 6-8 seed team can play havoc with chalk in the NHL playoffs, you could justify taking fringe teams such as San Jose +2500, Calgary +3000, NY Islanders +3500, NY Rangers +3500. Chicago +5000 if they heat up a little sitting 10ish points out of a playoff spot.

If I'm putting money anywhere....it's Pittsburgh, again, ugh.

In the NCAA I'd put my money on Kansas. Michigan State has drama. Duke has some weird losses. Virginia will always not keep up offensively with someone. Purdue, are they hot at the wrong time?

Nova has the best case, but for return on investment, I'll go Kansas.

I personally think Kansas just isn't very good this season, so you're probably home free!!!!

i agree with Villanova, if I had to pick someone today.

Ravens at +5000 to win the Super Bowl next year. Only 7 teams have worse odds. Feel like thats not terrible to take a flier on.

Beaner you should get in on the pickz contest next year.

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

"Now OPS sucks.  Got it."

"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."

"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

O/U Ravens wins is 8.5. +4000 to win it all, up from +5000.

O/U Patriots wins is 10.5. I guess you're betting on if Brady stays healthy/doesn't hold out. Otherwise the over there is a lock. Even without Gronk, they don't win less than 11.

Pats the favorites at +625 to win it all.

Saquan Barkley +5000 to win the MVP....same as Joe Flacco.

Orioles down to +100000 to win the World Series. So a $1 bet gets you $1,000 if they do the impossible. I mean, you almost have to put down $1, right?

Go to your bathroom and just flush a dollar bill down the toilet instead.
