247 now ranks the Class 46th overall!
11th in the Big Ten, now ahead of Northwestern, Rutgers, and Illinois. Impressive work by Locks.

With Cross' commitment, Locksley received commitments from the Top 5 players in the state of Maryland (3 while at Alabama.) To say he owns this state is an understatement.

Gotta cover your backyard before you can start sniffing down the street. Good job by Locks.

Now let's hope he can build a solid staff of assistants and coach like he recruits.

This is definitely great to see - but honestly means very little unless he can actually coach. I don't personally feel a lot of room for optimism on that front, but am hoping to be proven wrong there.

Obviously his record leads you to believe he can not coach, but his first try was New Mexico. That was a terrible fit for Locks. Tough to get DMV elite kids to go to New Mexico, no matter how good of a salesman you are. Hopefully next year is not totally ugly, but let's see him get two to 3 years of recruiting in and see where we are.
The sad thing is, we always seem to be looking for 2 to 3 years of recruiting.

There is no reason to wait for 2 to 3 years of recruiting. He's not coming in to a bare cupboard. Durkin set this team up pretty well from a talent standpoint. If locks can coach at all this team should go bowling.
I hope you are right and there is talent on this team, but there are also area's that are lacking. Putting the should go bowling label on it, may be obtainable, but not to the point that it is a failure if they don't.
