Did I offend you enough that you picked Jamaica over Bahamas?

No, my wife just -really- wanted Jamaica and I'm choosing my battles.

Anyone notice how airlines pad their flight times?

It's so annoying. They say flying from DC to Miami is almost 3 hours. That's a 2 hour flight.

All it does is allow them to be late pushing off from the gate and still get you to your destination "on time".

I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

I used to travel a ton for business.  They have been doing that for years.

We went to Alaska this summer via Seattle.  The flight there landed about a half hour early, the one home almost an 50 minutes.  They do that, so people are not bitching the whole way.

Just booked a vacay to Curacao for my 40th birthday next year.

Sucks Schoop is no longer an Oriole, I wanted to represent with an O's Schoop jersey while I was there.

Thanks Mackus, appreciate the info. Would love to do New Orleans, just always seems so expensive to fly there from BWI.

I wouldn't do a bachelor party in Vegas unless you and your boys like gambling.  The clubs/restaurant scene you can find anywhere and for cheaper.

A laid back bachelor party at Deep Creek Lake is always fun -- rent a huge house and just go crazy.  As for an underrated place to go -- Wrigleyville in Chicago if you're sports fans, see a Cubs game, get wasted in Wrigleyville, get a deep dish pizza, go to a nice steak house, rent a boat and take it out on the lake.

My buddy rented a cabin in the mountains of VA for his bachelor party and that was surprisingly awesome.

But you can't beat New Orleans.

A bachelor party in New Orleans could lead to death.

I survived.

I did, however, puke in both a women's restroom at a NO diner and in the airplane bathroom before the plane took off on the morning that we were returning.

I second/third New Orleans. Literally everything you need for bachelor party debauchery, assuming you go when the weather is ideal.

BTW, I stayed in Vegas for a week and it was great. Really recharging. We got really effed up one night, looked outside, went, "nah" and spent the entire day inside the hotel room. It was amazing.

Hash House A-Go-Go was by far the best meal we had on the trip. Holy crap, what a jewel.
