A lot of people were saying Dabo went to Lawrence too early and that he needed to keep Bryant around.

Much like Andy Reid with Mahomes, he knew what gave him the best chance to beat the top teams.

Would love to see the Ravens get Wilkins. Dude is a leader, smart, great motor. Came back as a senior to get a title. Emotional on the sideline after his last game.

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

"Now OPS sucks.  Got it."

"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."

"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

Clemson moneyline is close to 2:1 right now.

I think this game is a coin toss so if Vegas wants to give me 2:1 on my investment, I'll let them.

Wow, that was unexpected.

I think Herbstreit was right when he said there are two top-of-the-heap college football programs in the country right now. And with Dabo being just 49 vs Saban who is 67, Clemson might be in better shape when taking the long view.

I thought it was interesting when they told the story about how Clemson got Ross to leave his home state of AL, talking about one of the reasons he liked Clemson is that they have lost so few assistants (I think it's just 3 over the past few years) versus Alabama who seemingly lose 2-3 guys off their staff every year.

According to ESPN Stats & Info, the last time Nick Saban lost a game by more than 14 points he was coaching the Miami Dolphins.

One of our local cops whom I’ve worked with a long time began telling me a few years ago about his nephew in Georgia. Said he was a major college prospect, being looked at by all the big names.

I thought, “Yeah, right. Everyone’s some big prospect. You’re so full of —.”

Last night the kid won a national championship. I guess from now on my view of his uncle’s credibility is vastly raised. Trevor Lawrence has one heck of a future.

Clemson could easily win another title or 2 over the next few years.

I wonder if Saban looks at the NFL again?
