This is the greatest album ever recorded.

Discuss.

I don't disagree at all. Coolest song in the history of music is Come Together. Sweetest songs ever are Something and Here Comes the Sun. The medley at the end never gets old. Hell, even Ringo came up with a gem of a song.

Even the silly stuff from Paul makes me happy. The only thing I'd change, though, is killing Her Majesty. They ended the thing as well as an album will ever end, and then they stick that stinker on there. Oh well - with digital play, I can delete it myself.

Just in case you aren't familiar with the story, per Paul's request, Her Majesty was supposed to be cut from the album, and destroyed. But the studio had a policy to never destroy a Beatles song, so the engineer saved it. The fact that it appears on the album at all, is a fluke. The engineer gave The End a 14 second lead out, to be sure not to interfere with the track, then he placed Her Majesty after the break (hence the span of silence). Apparently, the guy forgot to cut off, and set aside, that portion of the tape, before it was pressed, so the track remained. But it was originally positioned between Mean Mr. Mustard and Polythene Pam.

Her Majesty

Good news! I saw a dog today.
