Relevant: Ranking All of the Characters of The Office
https://relevantmaga...-on-the-office/

Have been rewatching the show again lately...  definitely one of the best ensemble shows. They keep bringing back old shows, I'd like to see The Office return (as a different office, new characters).

Who else has watched the British version? Been awhile, but I liked that as well.

Michael should be number 1 based on being the heart of the show. And how downhill it went after he left.

Jim last on the list, at 25? That's just trolling.

I know I'm in the minority, but I was fine with Michael leaving... and actually liked the later years.

Did agree with the article's point about people identifying with Michael though.

And agree with you about the article trolling having Jim last.

Yep. You're in the minority alright. Lol.

I liked the later years, but didn't hold a candle to the early ones. The way Michael left was great. It was interesting for minute seeing the guest stars come through to see who would get Michaels job (knowing it would be internal the whole time). Andy though, better secondary character. When he punches the wall when his phone keeps ringing in the ceiling is one of my favorite scenes in the show. But him at the forefront, with Erin, was Jim and Pam all over again.

And Jim and Pam was basically Ross and Rachel, which was basically Sam and Diane....just not original by now and they crammed it in twice in one series.

I hate it so much, I feel like somehow I lost the bet.

Rainbow Brite as an  avatar is amazing.

McNulty would have wanted me to have a picture of a dong or something -- not classy at all.

I would've made him have SG as his avatar.

I actually thought about that -- but not enough people would "get" it

Next year, perhaps.

I've watched the entire series through multiple times, just gets better and better. Creed may not deserve #1 status, but he's my all-time favorite.

The best years are the middle of Michael's time there, things definitely went downhill after that, but the final season was very good. Having Jim last is crazy, one of my favorite intros is when he sends Dwight faxes from himself, from the future.

The continual Dwight/Jim feud was one of the best parts of the show. Loved it when Jim bitch slapped him while they were walking into a business call.

Been re-watching The Office on and off as well. Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey are doing a re-watch podcast. It's OK, not great, but it passes the time to work pretty well (the podcast that is).

As I watched through it the first time I thought Steve Carell was funny, but really I was just as invested in all of the other characters. Now that I'm re-watching it I'm appreciating just how amazing Carell was in that role. Crazy to me that he never won an Emmy for that.
