Iowa a 12 point favorite.

Also ranked #19 in this week's AP Poll. Going to be a really tough task in Kinnick. Hawkeyes look good this year. 5-1, with their only loss coming to Wisconsin by 11 points. Other than that, they've handled everyone else pretty easily and clobbered Indiana on the road Saturday.

Terps best hope this weekend is Iowa overlooks them, with a big Friday night trip to PSU the next week. The Hawkeyes under Ferentz have usually had a tendency to play to the level of their opponents, both good and bad.

(Weird fact....after this weekend, all of Iowa's remaining 5 games are played on Friday)

BSL: Terps Football - Mid-Season Reset

With Maryland’s Week 6 matchup with Rutgers come and gone, the team’s season has officially hit the midway point. In this article, I take a look back at what we've seen thus far and the path to bowl eligibility.

DB Marcus Lewis has left the program. Probably not a huge deal this season, barring injuries, as he started the first three games but then dropped down the depth chart. But I think this will hurt next year. With Qwuantrezz Knight having already left, plus Darnell Savage and RaVon Davis using up their eligibility, the secondary will be extremely young and inexperienced next year.
