Progress!!!
Release this bum already. Find some phantom injury. Something. This guy can't take the mound without giving up a run.

So making sure I wasn't exagerating I went back to his game log.
In Pattons last 8 appearances he had one clean inning on May 15 and another one where he pitched .2 of an inning and gave up nothing. However in that outing he gave up a hit and a walk before escaping.
In the other 6 appearances he has given up at least 1 run. 5 of those times he has given up 2 runs.
He's a complete waste of a roster spot right now.

I don't really feel great when Patton comes into games but he seems to get the job done more often than not. He's probably the O's 3rd or 4th best reliever at this point.

Per CSN Baltimore:
Troy Patton will report to Norfolk on Tuesday to begin a scheduled eight-day assignment. Patton has been on the suspended list for a positive test for amphetamines. He’ll be eligible to pitch for the Orioles in their 26th game, scheduled for Apr. 30.
Patton is scheduled to stay with Norfolk throughout his assignment.
