Insomnia for me.
Been on Ambien for a while now, it works about 75% of the time. I get about 5-6 hours of sleep on a "good night". Anyone else have sleeping issues?
Yes. Working nights since I’ve been...well 13 I guess. I take 6.5mg of ambien and usually it works.

How long have you been taking Ambien?

6 months off and on. Only on weeknights. Empty stomach is essential. Do you use the CR one? Works better for me.

I forgot that I take pills for high BP, but it's primarily to keep some hereditary issues at bay. Whole family's got it.

Nickle brought up his surgery in Anti-rants last month, and I figured it'd be a good offshoot.
I've had two wrist surgeries in 2012 (the first from bowling. The second from complications from the first). The day after the first surgery, which was right after the kid's first birthday, we flew down to DFW so that my wife could have her mom help out for a while.
Until my kidney stone earlier this year, I had never been in more pain. Sheesh.
They gave me lots of the happy pills, but I think I took, like, 6 total. They were just...too good. Wasn't even going to risk it.

I swear to goodness, the list of things I WOULDN'T do to get rid of that pain was a really, really short list.

Never imagined I'd puke from pain, but it happened, several times.

Labrum Surgery, and knee. Putting off another on the shoulder, the first was a stop gap to get it functional, will need another at some point, but with a 6 month old running around, now is not that time. The first night was horrendous, mostly just cause I couldn't sleep...I sleep with an arm under my pillow above my head, and obviously can't do that when you are gauzed up like a linebacker's shoulder pads and in a sling. Once I figured out taking the actual prescribed amount of pain pills instead of half would let me sleep through the night it got manageable.

Broken leg, broken nose, tonsils out.
There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

Oh, random story. Might have shared this. I forget.
I needed to pee after the first surgery, and the doctor said my wife needed come with me to the bathroom to help me "aim" since I was so out of it. Apparently I was so drugged that I walked in the bathroom, whipped it out and pissed all over the bathroom floor.
The floor was apparently slanted for draining purposes, thank goodness, but my wife was mortified.

How many times on the broken nose?
Just once. Somehow.

After my first ball surgery I peed all in my sutures. Spinals are a bitch

Gall bladder and tonsils for me. Wouldn't wish gall bladder attacks on anyone. Definitely vomit inducing, felt like Ivan Drago punched me right in the heart about 188 times in a row. Still, I think I'd prefer that to the pain in the peen folks are talking about. Sounds awful.
Before I knew what it was, I thought it was abdominal pain, and I'm like...welp...I'm about to die. LOL
