I will definitely be picking, but I'm going to wait until closer to the start of the season. With the O's playing good baseball this late in the season, I haven't had a chance to check out all of the teams yet.Any picks? While I will not (unless there are any major injuries), you can always change your picks prior to kickoff.

If it were in DC, the chances would be much better. In NO? Very unlikely.I'm struggling on the WAS / NO game. Not because I'm a WAS homer, but CB is our weakest point on D which says Brees is going to carve them up...thing is they get a ton of QB pressure, and I expect Brees to be a little slow to begin the season after the contract thing. Then you add in the suspensions and lack of a head coach, and I wonder if NO isn't wide open for an upset.

I already suggested doing a Survivor League, I could try and set this up on ESPN, but I'd only want to do this if there's substantial interest. So who else is interested?Make a BSL pick em league on yahoo or espn.

Who would be your suicide pick.Week 1 I like to just make sure I stay in the game and go what I think is safest available. Ithink thats probably Houston.
I'm in a couple pretty big $ survivor pools. Normally, my strategy is to take teams that other people normally wouldn't take and hope to keep moving on, while rooting for the "easy" survivor picks to lose. Not only that, but most people are out after 5 or so weeks anyway, meaning if you stick to the obvious survivor picks, you'll likely lose at some point early.
For example, I'm thinking about taking Minnesota Week 1. I'll likely never want to pick them again, and they're actually a nice little favorite over Jacksonville.
Thoughts?
