The only ones I've been to that I don't particularly like are Victoria's and Blue Hill Tavern.

Samos in Greektown, Buegrass Tavern in Fed Hill, Black Kettle in Catonsville are a few that jump to mind that would be deserving replacements.

Jack's' Bistro, Langermann's and Darbar are all places that would have been on the list for me, but Jack's and Langermman's just closed and Darbar changed ownership and now stinks.

Never made it to Jack's. I read the owner is doing a new restuarant concept somewhere else in Canton, though. Langermann's was pretty good the one time I went. Can Company just raised the rent and basically kicked out them and Pasticcio, if you believe online publications.

Langermann's had long been having issues.  They used to have two locations but closed the Fed Hill one a few years ago.  When down to just the Canton location, they had to file bankruptcy in 2015 but remained open throughout that process.  I did also hear that Can Company upped the rent basically forcing them out, but I think they were somewhat circling the drain before that.  It was such a huge space (actually had my rehearsal dinner in their upstairs room) and it was hardly ever full.

I hope the chef/owner can re-open in a smaller area somewhere nearby soon.  No idea if he's aiming for that or not.  Their hangar steak was probably my favorite dish in any local restaurant.

Wit and Wisdom being on the list is a joke, especially that high.

That place sucks

What restaurants not on the list do you think should be?

Capitol Grill.

Easily better than Wit and Wisdom, for example.

I would put Libs Grill on the list too.

I had an awful experience there.

I wouldn't go back if I had a gift certificate.

It's not likely any of you have been to it but there is a bar/restaurant up in Perry Hall called Disantis.

They have a great menu and tremendous food. I don't have a great feel for the wait staff but the food is fantastic.

Also, Towson Tavern is pretty damn good.

If you are a sushi lover, you should get to Fusion in Hunt Valley.

You and me both, man. But apparently if you want to see visiting athletes and singers and shit, that's the place to be.

I will say that I don't get why those places at Hammonds Ferry (Olive Grove, G&M, Snyder's...even though it moved to a new location, I still count it) don't get the love that they deserve. I'll put Olive Grove against most places I've been to.

Corner Stable, too, but that's because ribs ribs ribs ribs. That's my march Madness spot, three years running.

Yea Corner Stable is great...but they don't have the best ribs. Go to the Original Steakhouse in Parkville. Awesome ribs. More competition style vs fall off the bone.

I've been a few times (the last time being my friend's kid's birthday party like six months ago), but I've -never- had the ribs. Good look. I'll check it out.
