If you go to your profile, you can see the date you joined this board.

List how your life has changed since that time...

Joined in December 2011...

Orioles went from a laughingstock on and off the field with 14 consecutive losing seasons to a consistent winner with 3 playoff appearances, one division title, and 4 of 5 winning seasons with still a chance to make that 4 playoff appearances and 5 of 6 winning seasons (and only a laughingstock for off- or perhaps above-the-field things).

Ravens won a Super Bowl.

I got married.

January 2012.

The Orioles actually GOT GOOD AGAIN!!!!

Went to the Super Bowl in 2013, traveled a lot: St. Lucia, France, London/Edinburgh, Miami, Cozumel, New Orleans (again), Cancun, Savannah/Charleston, Croatia/Montenegro, Guadeloupe, Amsterdam, Vancouver...

Bought two cars, both Ford Edges...

I've started to reflect on the past a lot more...reliving some good memories from teenage/college years. I've tried to reconnect with some people I haven't seen in over a decade. Kicked up my writing and I've written some of the best stuff I'll probably ever write.

Other than that....not much. Still the same dude I've been since then.

I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

February 2012. I think this site was good luck for the O's :D

Let's see...got a full-time job, lost it, went back to school, left school, got another full-time job, kept it, and moved truly "away" from home for the first time. Gained and lost a brother-in-law, and gained a niece.

I got a new job, and my son grew up. That's really the entirety of it, non-sports. I live in the same house, got the same wife...hell, I have the same cars.

What changed? After a message board hiatus of several months I stopped posting on OH and started posting here.

And a bunch of other stuff too....became single again, started a business, moved a couple times, blah blah blah.

December, 2011 for me too.

Not much changed personally. Same wife (19 years), same 2 kids (now 15 and 12), same job (20 years). Man, I'm boring.

The O's have made the playoffs 3 times, and the Tar Heels have made two Final Fours and won a Natty, which has been nice!

What happened in the one they didn't win? ;)

December 2011... My daughter was two months old, she just started Kindergarten this week. Had another kid, moved, got out of debt, and started a podcast that is at 220 episodes (plus another one that has 23).

January 08, 2012.

I guess I didn't listen to Stoner's recruitment pitch for about a month after most of yous.

I'm still in the same apartment. I'm still not married. I still have the same Toyota Tundra. I still have the same job (for now.)

I've lost some weight. Got kicked off OH because I called out sycophancy in a post here. Like Ricker, went from three grandparents to one (Grandma Bennett riding along at 96!) Like Ricker, seen many friends and family members get married to really good people and have kids. Became the Godfather to the little girl of my best friend in New Orleans. Became real life friends with McNutty, not just internet friends. Parents both chose me to be the executor of their wills, which is depressing but also an honor. Ten year reunions for High School and College. Continued to have a blast eating and drinking and parading and living in New Orleans.

1/23/2013 I went from banker to financial advisor to cop. I had 1 kid in 2016. My oldest daughter was 4 now 7. I was a holdover from OH. I think I knew most on here from there.
<p>I am pretty sure Shack is thinking of PBR.

Now a lawyer living in Ellicott City. Single.

Not much has changed.

Same job but playing a lot more golf.  Kids are growing way too fast since that day.  Oh, I burned my house up too which was fun.
