Not sure what the issue was with season 2.

Season 3 was awesome. Especially the final few episodes.
Finished it last night. Episode 9 was...heartbreaking.
Best season yet. But I still feel like some things come way too convenient to them. Love the show, but it’s the one flaw that keeps it below some of the all-timers for me.

Still a great show

It's a great show. The pacing is swift, never makes you bored.
I'd say it's on Breaking Bad's level, but really, I hate about all the characters on Ozark. Breaking Bad had little nuggets of lovability throughout the cast of characters. But story-wise, it's right up there with it.

Just caught up. I agree, an excellent season of TV with tremendous acting.
Some small nitpicks (like the KC mob blowing up the office at the end of S2 and never being mentioned again) and some other lazy plot devices but it's a storytelling powerhouse show with some solid acting, writing and directing as well.
Probably Netflix's best original show.

Yup.
Underwhelmed is the word I'd use.
Highlight below for spoilers.
I was disappointed that Wendy or even Marty did not pay for their actions. I get the point of the show -- that the people who embraced who they were survived -- but it felt hollow and anticlimactic. I felt like the show was great up until the last half of the last season. I really liked the first episode. After that it felt like a slow release of gas from a balloon that you wanted to pop.

Wasn’t crazy about the end.

What was the point of showing the car accident at the beginning of the season?
It ended up meaning nothing.
Agree, meh. Your last scene is gonna be with the private detective? Really?
