Humphrey and Davis were good last night

Wade is an interesting guy too. Wonder if he is making the team? Seemed to perform well when he played this preseason.

So are we keeping Mallett as back up?

Terrible preseason...Woodrum looks like the more talented player, which is saying something about Mallett.

So, Chris Moore cut? Rainey had a decent preseason, could he make the team? What about Mizzell?

You gotta think they don't cut bait on Moore given he was a 4th, and you have to think that Mizzell is making this team. It'd be crazy / stupid to keep Rainey over him if you ask me. At worst, if you like Rainey, bring him back on a non-guaranteed deal after Week 1, no?

Do we save anything on the cap if we cut Mallett? Even if we saved $1, I'd be leaning to letting him go.

Woodrum will be on the PS imo.

I want them to add another interior lineman and another RB.

$1M.  Then of course you gotta fill his roster spot, Woodrum's contract would be for $465k, so net savings of going Woodrum instead of Mallet is $535k.

I'd cut him, then. Not because he's awful (mainly he is) but because we're not going anywhere with him at QB for more than 1/2 game, IMO. I didn't watch yesterday, yet. But given what things appear like for the moment, I just don't see a need for him.

Rather be carrying a project with that spot, though I don't think we're at risk of losing Woodrum on the PS. $500k ain't nothing...

Woodrum has to pass through waivers to make our PS, right? How does that work? I don't think he'd pass through waivers. I think someone (Jets, Browns, etc) would pick him up and put him on their 53 man roster.

This is why I'd rather have Woodrum than Mallett. I think there's a decent likelihood that Woodrum more likely lands on a 53-man roster if cut than Mallett does.

I don't know though, beyond being what it is, I don't really give a crap about this position and that battle. Joe has to be healthy and has to be better this year if we want to win. Period.

The backup QB in Baltimore has and will always as long as Joe is here, probably get way too much attention.

I'm also curious if Correa has played himself out of a spot. Man...that 2nd round pick curse continues if he has. I think he gets a split chance to start the regular season but if his impact remains low, I could see the Ravens making a quick change.

It's funny, at the end of the first week of camp last year, you'd have thought Correa had the best shot to be the biggest impact player of the bunch the way he was being covered by the press.

I'd be shocked to not see him on the roster.

Sorry if that was interpreted as not on the roster. Just meant as a starter. And generally how disappointing his career arc has seemed to be. Still just seems like he's playing too tentative.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Patrick Onwuasor starting over him, hell Bam Bradley has played better than him.  He doesn't seem to have football instincts.  He is depth at this point in my eyes.  And I agree with the 2nd round curse statement.

His instincts at ILB should seem slow at this point, shouldn't they?  How can he naturally react (at this point) at a position he hasn't played?

He has to become comfortable with his responsibilities first, and then maybe you will see more of the natural athlete.

He obviously seems to be an athlete in the firmest of senses. So hopefully a few reps will do the trick for him. I'd be OK with letting him start the year, honestly.

I think Correa gets the first shot.

Let's be fair, he did not get a uniform last year, because Harbs and Jerry Ros, did not like him on teams.

Bradley certainly looked good yesterday, but he was playing against guys who were not going to be on the league.

Onswauer is interesting, but he is really small.  I keep going back  to the Cincy game last year when he could not get off blocks.

Let's give KC a chance to settle in.

Agreed. I hope he settles in and does some damage. You gotta love a guy with that kind of motor. He just needs to put it together. I had high hopes for him, so hopefully he's just a late bloomer.

I didn't see the game last night, well I should say I didn't pay much attention because we had our Fantasy Football Draft going on.  I read Zriebec's tweet earlier that Onswauer was on the ground writhing in paid during the game last night.  Is there a status on his injury?
