I'm wondering if this isn't the time that he sticks. He's edging towards 25, and while he didn't tear it up at AAA, he definitely has the tools to be productive at the ML level.
Today's catch and throw was pretty nice.

Santander was a guy that I liked a couple of years ago, and he wasn't really given a chance as a Rule 5 guy.
Now that he has a little time in the show, I think we get to see he's actually a pretty good player.

Santander looks like a different player from the one who was up in 2017. Much better defensively, plus more controlled at the plate.
The year in the minors did him a lot of good IMO.

What a strange headline for the story.
Him playing CF is interesting. I haven't tuned in the last few games, but the one that I did see, he was playing very deep in CF.
