I agree that Banks has no room to be just a specialist. They won't be carrying 8 WRs this time (probably 6) and he will need to really show something in regular play to stick around. That rule change is really coming around to affect him now.

As is posed in the article, there might be some thoughts, but I don't think wheels would really get turning on that unless everyone falls flat on their faces, which seems unlikely enough, though not impossible.

The Olympics are affecting my attention. If someone could pick up the slack it would be appreciated.
Yeah sorry, mine too. We leave for vacation on Friday night so I've been planning/packing for that too.

Was really hoping that Goff could stay healthy. He was penciled in as a starting LB for the Giants before he got hurt.Skins have their first casualty of the season. Backup LB Goff is out for the year. Looking at Orakpo, Fletcher, Alexander and Kerrigan starting with Riley, Jackson, White, and Robinson looking likely. Kinda thin at LB this year without Fox and moving Alexander into a bigger role.

Yeah I think we needed that depth looking at things. I think Riley proved to be a good backup in the middle, but OLB looks a bit thin, and in a 3-4 you need depth. It'll be interesting to follow. I think we have too many safeties and not enough LB.

There are a lot of warm bodies at safety this year. Morris actually came out and said they he felt that's where most of the depth was.

Yeah I mean, I understand why, dumping starters from last year, but seemed like every week they were signing a new one. Kinda hoping Merriweather and Tanard Jackson end up the starters, but whoever earns it is good with me.
I'm wondering who gets cut at WR and who the backups at OL and LB are right now.

The WR corps is shaping up to be a very interesting competition - especially since we just brought in Dez Briscoe.
Yeah that's what got me thinking about it. You've got Garcon, Morgan, Moss, Hankerson, Armstrong, Austin, Briscoe and some others in there. Something has to give, and I don't know who I'd want to go. Aside from Briscoe I kinda like them all.
