Better ribs than limbs. Feels like something they can address with an adjustment to the equipment. But you never want to hear “further testing on Monday”. He will be missing some time, I think. But doesn’t seem to be catastrophic in any way.

Yeah kinda what I was thinking too.

I think everyone here knows with the mobile QB, especially the ones fresh out of college that are still pretty small compared to 10 year pro vets, getting hit is the game plan for the defense, and what you dread on offense.

Further testing usually means MRI or 2nd opinion since they have an xray at the stadium. Also used to buy time before they have to tell the rest of the league what's up though. Very nervous that's for sure.

It worries me that he weighs like 110 pounds and doesn't seem to know how to slide or even fall.

I know they've been harping on it since the first preseason game, but yeah it's really bad. I get he was good enough he never really had to in college, but I feel like they still should have made him LEARN just in case.

Looks like best case scenario for Daniels, even though the way they’re talking, I still expect some missed time. Would be great if he somehow could suit up against Caleb and da Bears this weekend.

Yeah, I know CBS even flexed it to make it more of a major matchup. Almost starting to get hopeful for post season though...and that is more important in the grand scheme.

It sucks in the short term, but yeah I can't imagine he plays Sunday. And I'm with you, if he does, is that really a good thing? Or a responsible thing? Mariota looked pretty damn good in this offense BTW.

Yeah, I mean the logical part of me is like let him rest and recover whatever he needs. We need him Thanksgiving on a lot more than right now. But the pessimist and long time Skins fan is like, it's all falling apart, we won't win another game...

Yeah I think that's what is getting people, not only is it a team with a rookie Jayden out there who looks really good, but KK and his offense is NO JOKE man. Kinda like MIN, I feel like you could plug a couple different people in here and they'd be pro bowlers.

Some guys are just better as assistants than head coaches, the kid from NE is one that comes to mind. He's been a head coach 2-3 times already and kept coming back to be Bill's assistant. I think assistants like him should get bigger deals, like some of the head coaches, they are just too valuable to let go.

Hell even the defense looks like another planet. I think a lot of that is Luvu and Wagner in the middle, our LB core has been suspect for years, but our secondary is questionable and they are still playing really well. Will be interesting to see how the rest of the season goes.

I was WAY OUT on the KK hire. He was abysmal at Arizona (and he ran that offense) and at USC. Just goes to show, people can grow and evolve. This offense is very different than his previous stints. Helps having Jayden Daniels. But he had Caleb last year and it was the worst year Caleb had collegiately.

I was worried too, but he's done a good job of integrating different parts of different schemes to make something work. I think HC that try to run the offense or defense too are doing too much. I just feel like it rarely works out. Even if the HC is defacto making the play call, but at least has strong input from his assistants it's better than one person trying to do everything. There's just so much to watch, see and adjust for these days.

You're always going to hear some Kyler vs Caleb vs Jayden comparisons now since he's had all 3, but seems like this one he's running now is pretty different from what he's run before. It's not fair calling it a college offense, it's got a lot of pro elements, but it's a simplified pro offense, and looks like they are adding new things as Jayden is comfortable. Smarter than trying to get them to absorb an entire offense in 5 months.

Washington down 28-27, with 1:28 left... 4th and 9... around midfield.

Huge amount of Pittsburgh tans at the game.

Completion made for the DC.... but apparently just short of the 1st.

Booth review, I thought he had it live.

Ertz was short, and Pittsburgh took over on downs.

They did stop Pittsburgh, forcing a punt with 1:02 left.

Or not... Steelers going for it on 4th and 1.

And Washington jumps to give Pittsburgh the 1st and the game.

Is there a team luckier than the Steelers? I think not.

I think the Steelers made their own luck today.

Just a ridiculous final 6 minutes or so to 3 absolutely boring quarters of football.

All the late scoring was just a different outcome of two teams playing terrible, terrible football. That was one of the worst games I've ever watched, and only kept watching out of morbid curiosity followed by comic relief late.

Agreed. I was already mad it was one of the worst football games I have ever watched, but then to watch them screw up so many times late...the ENTIRE SPECIAL TEAMS should be fired this morning.

I think this is a great group. They'll do some special things together. But I don't think they're there yet. I think their immaturity has started to show up a bit here. They seem to have drank their own kool-aid.

This isn't the team, it's sports talk, but I was listening to 106.7 The Fan yesterday morning, and it felt like I was listening to analysts of a team that had won the last 10 Super Bowls. "Dallas isn't a rival" "Dallas would have to be good for me to care about this game anymore than a normal game" "It's amazing how little I care about this game being against Dallas" etc etc etc. It was cringe.

I'd be willing to bet the locker room took them too lightly as well.

That wouldn't surprise me, honestly I was kind of expecting that. But watching them dogwalk down the field and score in like 50 seconds, I was like WTF was this all game if you could do it at will? What BS playcalling were you making earlier and why were we trying to change shit that has been working? They kept saying it all game, KK has to evolve with offense 2.0 or teams are going to figure it out and shut it down, it's time to get more technical as an offense. I think he was doing that and it got away from what's been working. They abandoned the run when Robinson went out, and I don't think I saw a short flat pass to them at all either, which has been a big part of our offense all year. Just looked like they didn't take it serious like you said.
