Oof looks like the leaked WC kits for the US are the real deal. I'll still root for the team, but ugh after no WC in 2018 this is the best Nike could come up with?

The white one is, okay at best but the blue is brutal

It's okay, then someone compared it to the Pats jersey and I liked it even less.  Blue is just awful

Interesting....I dont mind the blue one either. But I really could care less about uniforms anyway, Long as they don't bind up when I am playing I could give two shits. Now the balls are an entirely different matter. I HATE all these freaking multi colored balls. Too hard to read the flight IMO.

Yunas Musah out with an injury. Nothing serious but still sucks. And this is exactly why I am waiting to do my pre camp article to the first of the week. Every damn camp somebody gets hurt after they make the roster announcement.

I like the lineup for the Japan match. Really strong front line and interesting to see how Luca plays the role of Musah.

 

Of course there is always bad news every time we have a camp and now we hear that Pulisic has a slight knock and is out. They hope he can go Tuesday although in the pregame Berhalter just said that its precautionary and if this was a WC match he'd be on the roster.

He got a slight knock in training on Monday.

I will have more in thoughts on the Japan match and the Saudi match middle of next week but here is the bottom line.

 

Unacceptable performance across the board from Berhalter to the players except for Turner.

 

Oh and quite unacceptable from the ref as well. Gave a yellow to LDLT for a pretty much 50-50 contact by both players. Yet didn't even card the Japanese player who had cleats up into the calf of I think it was Aaronson. VAR should have been all over that. Clear red.

Berhalter announced that Ricardo Pepi will start at the #9 tomorrow. No surprise really, I think that was the plan going into camp. Also announced that Pulisic will play.

 

I think the thing I am most anxious to see is what CB paring he puts out and if he sticks with the playing out the back with the CBs. Saudi won't press at all like Japan as they don't have that level of talent but we'll see what the game plan is in 24 hours.
