Very excited to now be covering the Ravens for The Baltimore Sun. Thank you to everyone at the Carroll County Times for a great 11 years

Surprised this didn't happen earlier...Only a matter of time before he leaves the Sun for a major national network.

My guess is this is KVVs replacement.

Good get for the Sun...he is the best at covering the Ravens. He is almost as good as Preston thinks he is.

A well-deserved upgrade. Wilson has been stellar for a while.

Aaron Wilson, based on his work at the CC Times, would seem to me a better beat-guy...more of a Jamison Hensley replacement than KVV. He's obviously got great relationships with a lot of people in the franchise and was frequently the first with news on the team. Of course with the proliferation of Twitter, a "scoop" only lasts for a few seconds nowadays. Maybe Zrebiec will end up shifting to be the guy who writes more of the pieces KVV did, like the "Five Things".

You are right...good points here.

The only thing is that Wilson knows football better than Zrebiec(remember, he was a baseball guy) and a column like the five things, where KVV did more analysis than reporting, may be better suited for Wilson vs Zrebiec.
