With the minor league season underway, several top prospects in the Baltimore Orioles’ farm system have made their regular season debuts.

Good stuff.   I would also throw Randy Gassaway in there as an interesting bat to keep on eye on at Frederick.    He was batting cleanup tonight in that lineup which looks pretty formidable right now 2-5 with Hays, Mountcastle, Gassaway, and Reyes.   Throw in Mullins and Sisco and that's 6 pretty good position prospects to follow.    The only problem is that Mullins and Hays are  the only ones considered a good defender at their position.

No one outside of the Baltimore organization thinks Mountcastle is a SS and most don't even think he stays in the infield.   Gassaway is a below average corner OF at this point.   Most don't see Reyes sticking at 3B long term.   And even though Sisco has come a long way, there is still a question if he can control the running game at the ML level.

Frederick is certainly the team to watch. I like the potential of Hays.
