Orioles placed OF Craig Gentry on the 10-day disabled list retroactive to June 24 with a left rib fracture.

Gentry injured his ribs after being hit by a pitch against the Braves in Atlanta. He'll be eligible to be activated on July 3, but considering the rib is fractured, he could miss a few more days -- if not weeks -- than that ETA. Jun 27 - 5:52 PM

Still a few hours for a contender to jump on board the Gentry Express. Guy has a hot bat, plays solid D and runs the bases well. What’s not to like? Indians still looking for OF help?
