Indeed. Can't imagine he'll be catching Arrieta anytime soon.

Montero DFA. Though Contreras has been hitting well for them (plus the guy they are calling up from Iowa has been red hot this year) so not sure they will be looking to acquire another catcher beyond as a backup.

Just took a quick look through the AAA and AA Cubs rosters, didn't see anyone who jumped out statistically. Who would we want to target in a trade?

I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

I know nothing about their system, but here is MLB's list of their top 30 from the start of this season. The top 5 were in the overall top-100, so likely off limits. Could probably reasonably ask for someone in the 10-15 range for Castillo, though I have no idea how steep the fall-off is in their organization, so maybe we could reach a little higher.
