Bills acquiring Amari Cooper. Browns throwing in the towel?

I think that is obvious by running Watson out there every week.

I never had friends later on like the ones I had when I was twelve. Jesus, does anyone?

When you've committed 220 million guaranteed, what else are you supposed to do?

Bench him and play the guy who gives you the best chance to win? You're stuck paying Watson whether he's playing or not.... might as well give Winston a chance.

The Browns did 2 things right these past several years. One - they built a legit defense. Two - they hired Stefanski, he's a great coach. Fortunately, they're wasting it by making a litany of mistakes, in typical Browns fashion. Meanwhile, Baker Mayfield continues to thrive down in Tampa Bay. Gotta love it.

Bench him. That money is spent whether he is good or bad. Continuing to play him only loses you more games and the locker room. Can't imagine their HC appreciates being forced to play him either.

But you love to see the Browns being the Browns.

You know the idiot owners are going to fire Stefanski because of their own stupidity.

Lucky for Cleveland - it appears Watson's season is over thanks to a ruptured achilles.

For those who may care, today is the 60th anniversary of the Browns' last NFL championship.

Some things in sports should never change... the Wizards being a pointless member of the NBA... the Browns filling an also ran role in the NFL...

That 1978 NBA championship by the then-Bullets seems like an awfully long time ago as well, doesn't it?

The Wizards do have one bit of history that no one can take away, however. They are the only remaining team to have played in the last NBA game without the three-point shot (Game 5 of the 1979 NBA Finals). Since the Seattle Supersonics are no more, Washington has this distinction all to themselves.

Thunder are the same franchise

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

"Making his own olive brine is peak Mackus."

"I'm too hungover to watch a loss." - McNulty

In many ways, yes, but the Bullets didn't play the Thunder in the '79 Finals.

Apparently DeShaun Watson ruptured his achilles AGAIN and could be out all of next season, not like it matters.

What an absolute dumpster fire trade for Cleveland.

Two years left right. They also have the number two pick and just have to draft a QB no?? A little light at the end of their tunnel

The Browns reportedly took out insurance on Watson's contract for next season, so they would be able to recoup much of what they're still obligated to pay. If Watson misses all of the 2025 season, however, that would also mean Cleveland has laid out $46 million each of the past three years to have him play in just 13 of a possible 51 games.

The gift that just keeps on taking.
