I mean, clearly not. I live down in the thick of Redskins territory and there isn't much of a rumbling in the least about this game being this week. Interest is definitively low across the board (baseball playoffs definitely takes some of that wind out, with games in DC both today and tomorrow).

Yeah I haven't had one Redskins fan say anything to me this week, and I'm the only Ravens fan in the building. A lot of them are focused on the Nats, which is cute, and they are still down on them after the 0-2 start.

Yep, it's like the Nats... I feel nothing either way for the Redskins.

I'll never understand why The Sun has Jeff Zreibec do the scouting report the way it's done. In case anyone's not familiar, it's lined up as our passing game vs their passing game, our running game vs their running game, etc.

I asked Jeff on Twitter why it wouldn't be out passing game vs their pass defense, and vice versa; then so on. He said the editors want in the way it's done. Seems kinda silly to me.

Right up there with a "report card" as far as creativity goes. My guess is 90% of football fans, that's all they understand. For the longest time it was "Joe Flacco has never beat Ben Roethlisberger". Except that Joe Flacco doesn't play against Ben. He plays against the Pittsburgh defense. Ben plays against the Ravens defense. So it's no surprise that The Sun wants to appeal to 90%, rather than the 10%.

They do something similar on NFL Network. They just ran it about a half hour ago. Ravens vs. Redskins and who has the edge in passing, rushing, receiving and defense. So if they feel Kirk Cousins will have a better game than Joe Flacco, they give the passing edge to the Redskins. Also gave the receiving edge to the Redskins.  But then the give the edge in defense to the Ravens. Wait? So which one is it?

Have to dumb it down for a lot of people even if it doesn't make sense. NFL Network needs a show similar to MLB Now. Just an hour a day, can even be once a week, on next level football talk. Instead they fill up 40 hours a week talking fantasy. The playbook shows Brian Billick is a part of are great. But you have to stumble on on it by accident. Hardly if any reminders out there that it exists.

EDIT: Just got me thinking about the playbook shows. The only bit of that they do anymore is the early Sunday morning before Gameday starts. The dedicated shows aren't on anymore. But you can watch 2 hours a day just on who to put in your fantasy lineup, and a couple days a week, spend an hour talking about Madden football ratings updates, tournaments, and video game strategy.

Wind gonna be a factor today. Should make for interesting 4th down and PAT decisions. Let's just go up by 30 for once so this doesn't matter.

I forgot about Playbook. That was a fantastic show.

Even the Ravens moved away from their in depth show; Gameplan. Although the Ravens probably did it because of Harbaugh's paranoia but it's a shame because it was shows along that lines that really educated fans.

A really good idea today would be a couple of screen passes, particularly to Kenneth Dixon.

Using the screen game serves multiple purposes....(1) you help out the OLine because the defense will have to think before being too aggressive getting upfield....(2) you can get Dixon the ball out in space and give him an opportunity to use his speed.

Shareece Wright inactive. Price starting opposite of Jimmy Smith?

Also interesting to see Judon and Correa inactive.

I don't mind Wright getting benched. Did nothing the last three weeks to warrant keeping him in there. Wonder though if Powers moves up the chart. Doubt they start Price.

Judon and Correa out sucks. Correa can't play special teams over Carter? Gonna have to pay closer attention to ZDS to see if he should be making it over Judon. We know Harbaugh doesn't play the rookies unless he needs to. But I can't imagine these guys are growing in limited practice time these days.

I think Powers strictly seen as slot CB, same with Young. Davis/Price are the guys outside.

It seems very odd to have so little depth at OLB, but it might mean Dumervil and Suggs are looking good and ready to log more snaps, which is definitely a good thing. I'd still like to see Judon on tje field though on passing downs.

Judon not being a ST guy is hurting him right now.

Correa is a surprise to me considering he is supposed to be a good cover LBer and you have Reed.

They went with more corners today though.

Chris Moore also inactive...a clear message to stop dropping the ball imo.

Agree 100%. Moore has the physical tools, needs to improve his focus.
