I am someone who has little need for actual facts! ;)

It didn't seem like they made too many during the playoffs. And, of course, that's the only time anyone watched :D

I think Towson is being methodical on purpose to limit the possessions NDST gets.  Which is smart.

Towson needs to make their possessions count to make that strategy work.

TD Tigers! 7-7. Great way to end the first quarter.

Haha, great point.

I just got home, and the announcers on Sirius in the car were saying that Towson isn't penalized often... so I'll blame them.

Then again, who ever thought a Towson game would be on Sirius/XM? ;)

Correct. That's the type of team they are anyway, so they have to keep pace and hope the defense can force a big mistake or two from NDSU.

Ambrose is a hell of a coach. Only a matter of time until he moves on to somewhere else. A friend of mine who coaches little league went to a coaching clinic that Ambrose put on, and apparently he is superbly obnoxious... which he didn't like... My thought is that ha lot of successful alpha male football coaches/leaders are probably fairly obnoxious by normal standards.

Before the playoffs, I would have said in three years in the midst of an ill-advised, UMassian transition to FBS.

I tweeted to Rob Carlin, bet you never thought you'd have an assignment in Frisco, Texas.

Well, in his defense...he did coach for years under Randy Edsall.

CU is playing them at Gillette in the fall, should be a game we win.

Can he win? The Bills (Parcells/Belichick) aren't the great guys in the world, but both HOFers. Just win baby (channeling my Al Davis).

I get that everyone's focusing on the atrocious grass, but I'm obsessing over who the idiot was that decided, in a nationally-televised football game using modern technology, it would be a good idea to paint the 20-yard lines gold.

You should go. CU fans might outnumber the Minutemen rooting section.

I went when they played at WVU.

Actually a fair amount of CU alums in Mass., but I wouldn't count on them outnumbering UMass fans, given the state of the program.

They hired the Redskins groundskeepers?

They paint the lines that color, too?

That would explain both issues :P

So if Towson wins, do they get a Gameday visit next season?
