I think the players have to feel that way too.
Edsal always seemed like a nice guy but he and his program were boring.

I strongly disagree with the characterization of Edsall as a "nice guy". I'd go with "sanctimonious asshole".

I echo Mack's sentiment and also thought Edsall was a terrible spokesperson! His sound bites were always terrible and he was unbearable to listen to live. Durkin is 100% better in this regard. John Harbaugh is great in this skill as was Brian Billick!
