I'm Tim Souders and I'm a huge O's, Ravens, and Terps fan.

I'm graduating from Towson University in a week with an accounting degree.

Hey everyone. Most of you probably know me from the OH as socalbirdfan. Strong likelihood that I may be moving in the near future so I thought I would go with the board suggestion as my name for a board handle.

I have been an ardent supporter of the Orioles since 1970 when I watched them win the series. My love for the team is probably quite a bit different than most. I've never actually been to Baltimore which may end this year. My brother and I have been talking about going to take in a series at OPACY for a few years now and it may finally happen.

Anyway, my Dad was born in Rochester, New York and moved to California when he was in HS. Naturally he continued following the players from his home town team all the way up to the time when me and my brothers were born. I've never been a Dodgers fan until very recently and even that has been on the periphery. Being an Orioles fan in California has been an interesting experience to say the least with yearly trips to Anaheim to see them play the Angels and now indoctrinating my daughters as fans. It's all been worth it to see them finally turn it around as of late.

I was an All City High School player and played against the likes of Brett Saberhagen and former Marlins GM Larry Beinfest, who was a very good SS. Later, I went on to play three years of college ball and garnered All Conference honors in the OF. I had a chance to sign with Tigers after my junior year for a roster spot(they had given all their bonus money to D1 guys and I was D2) but I had family considerations. After college I went on to do some scouting and coaching as recently as last year.

I hope to contribute and join in the discussions here on a regular basis.

Hello everyone, my name is Cory and although I live in South Florida I'm an avid Ravens fan. I have been since I was about 5 or 6. Mostly due to a couple of Cane greats being on the team but after following the team for a bit I was hooked and have been a Ravens fan ever since. I also love the Canes and the Miami Heat. I'm a huge Mario Chalmers and Matt Elam fan also.

Hi my name is Mike Gallo and I grew up in good ole Calvert County and just recently moved back here from Annapolis. I am 24  and a life long O's, Skins and Wizards fan...Played baseball and football in highschool (even though I was much better in football as I got older)...Went to college at West Virginia University and am very passionate about my Orioles and tend to lean toward sabermetrics even though I think scouting is vital also....Posted a little bit on the Hangout and read it for years (still do) but I prefer this board for several reasons which I won't get into but I enjoy the blogs here and hope to contribute to the board....Thanks

Hey all, wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. I am Shawn Brubaker (@63brubaker on twitter). I am the host of Ravens Central Radio, former Bleacher Report FC and Yahoo Contributor, all on the Ravens. Currently living in Oklahoma, but I am from central PA, and I went to college in DC. I currently work at a small newspaper in Western Oklahoma, but still follow the Ravens and host Ravens Central Radio. I'd encourage anyone to check us out on iTunes, and I'd love to get some of you on the show! Don't worry, I have no intention of spamming the forums with ads for my show. I'm looking forward to getting to know you all though!

Some personal info... A Ravens fans since I was 10, a Wizards fan much more recently, and a Thunder fan even more recently since moving to OK. Still not sure what team to root for in baseball, but Andrew McCutchen is my favorite player. Suggestions?

Hey buddy! How's the family?

The family is good - and growing.  We have 3 little ones now: 2 daughters (5 and 3 years old) and a son (9 months old).

Yeah we were tied with the 2 girls, ours are the same age, but we held off on #3, that discussion is still pending :) Glad everything is going well!

Hello everybody! My name is Chris Schisler and I am new to this forum. I am a diehard football nerd who may love the game a little too much. I'm fairly certain that if you cut me open I would bleed purple. I run a football website which I am a co-owner of (commonsensefootball.com). This is a good place for strong opinions and analysis of football. We do football 101 videos as well. You can contact me via the Twiitersphere @footballman58. I hope that I can add a bit of the hardcore, unapologetic and intelligent football content that Common Sense Football is known for, to this forum!

Hello

The Left Bench was launched in 2013 by five University of Maryland freshmen as a blog covering sports of all sorts. Since our beginning, the staff has grown and our focus has changed. Now, The Left Bench focuses heavily on high school athletics and recruiting while still staying true to what we started out covering: professional and college sports.

If anything, you will see our posts about Maryland Basketball.

One thing has not changed.

The staff has spent enough time on the sidelines and now brings unique, intelligent, and witty insights to the wide world of sports for those on the field, those in the stands, and those playing “left bench.” Follow The Left Bench on Twitter @TheLeftBench and be sure to follow all of The Left Bench writers at their respective handles!

Cheers,

Kofie Yeboah
