I like what I see in those clips. Big boy with some drop on that 90s stuff.

I think the Orioles could have made a better pick but I don't think this is a bad pick.
Who knows, really...loved the line...did you pay any attention to MLB Network and Baseball America. Answer NO.
Seriously rankings in a magazine mean absolutely nothing after the first 5 or 10.

For the record, no issues with this pick. Agree with some of the other comments.
Looks like a big, durable kid with the chance to pitch in your rotation sooner than later.

Good news that he signed.
Get him pitching. This kid has a shot to move quickly and the team needs the help.

He has already done better than Stewart did.

Sedlock on Saturday:
Cody Sedlock was 94-96 mph (hit 98) on Saturday. Also with a 84-86 firm CH, flashed 12-6 sharp CB at 80-82 mph.

First impressions? Stuff jump out to you? Look fairly polished?

What do you think of the CH? To me it's the one grade which might be lower, maybe 40-50, and the one he needs to work on.

Yes, CH needs work..lacked movement and was firm.

Indeed. The delivery will need some work, as it's not very smooth imo. His CB was actually better than I thought it would be.

In Sunday's postgame press conference, one of the reporters asked about a possible September callup for Sedlock, and Buck didn't completely shoot him down.

No way it'll happen. WAY too soon, and they'd have to add him to the 40 man and start his controllable years clock, this is why they don't do ML contracts anymore.

Now that I think about it, it might have been DD that said that while he was in the booth yesterday. Maybe he was just humoring Jim Hunter.

DD is the master of talking forever and saying nothing. The smartest guy in the world is a master of double talk.
Sedlock will be shut down before he comes up at the end of the year.
The man gets so much undeserved credit.
