Comcast is currently capping people's internet usage at 300 GB in some markets (not where I live...yet).  In those markets you can pay an additional $30 a month to get unlimited.

Today Comcast announced that they are increasing the limit from 300 GB to 1,024 GB, with the option to go unlimited for $50 more per month.

The fuckers are rolling out data caps in more markets starting Nov. Looks like those of you in MD dodged this bullet. Those of us in Oregon weren't so lucky. I'm sure it's no coincidence this happens just a couple months after Google announces it is no longer considering Portland for its fiber network. The fear of competition is the only thing that keeps Comcast in check.
