In Chicago. Goddamn I love this town.

There is baseball, and occasionally there are other things of note

I do understand that Chicago is special.   Too many people think so for me to believe otherwise.  But I've never felt it.  What am I missing?

It's a cleaner, smaller, nicer New York.

New York is better than Chicago, but Chicago is a great city.

Agree to a certain extent. Chicago combines a big city feel with mid western charm that can't be replicated anywhere. It's a great town to visit when a change of pace from the east coast is needed

SG, the next time the Os play at Wrigley I'm ordering you to go.

Btw I fully admit my NY > Chicago stance could just be east coast bias. Considering I've been to NYC over 100 times in my life and I've been to Chicago 6-7 times I think.

New York is the better cultural city, the better food city, and the more iconic city. All imo of course.

Chicago's big advantage is Wrigley.

I wouldn't think many people that hate visiting New York would enjoy visiting Chicago.

Disagree. I guess it depends on why you hate NYC. people here are nicer, the city is less claustrophobic. Not as dirty. Lots of reasons.

Well you could argue that NYC is #1 globally in culture, food and being iconic.

I don't think the differences are as pronounced as you seem to think they are.

It also very much depends on where you go in each city.

So it depends on what someone wants to do in a big city.

Ugh. A city full of people we can't stand when the Yankees are in town? Nah, I'll pass.

They suck.

SG you'll like Chicago. Don't listen to Weber. Not enough trees here
