Incredible.

I think they will be a playoff team in a year or two.

Today, the Eagles traded Alonso (and Maxwell, who they overpaid) and traded Murray, who they overpaid for.

Last offseason, they traded Alonso for McCoy and bought Murray and now everyone is gone.

Would be interesting to see how Kelly would've done if he hadn't taken over GM duties. Pretty clear he's a complete failure as a GM, or at least gets a big zero for his first efforts.

NFL Media is the NFL. In this specific context, the NFL is both prohibiting certain conduct and generating Internet traffic (and presumably revenue) by publicizing instances of the very conduct that the NFL prohibits.

I'm guessing everyone already knows what that is in reference to. Some of the GIFs in the replies are pretty great though, if you have some time to kill.

Williams is not wrong. And "couldn't play dead in a western" is a great line.

He's not wrong at all. The timing of his comments is crass though. And as Tomlin alludes, you only dig your hole deeper by going to war with the Twitterverse.

Osweiler signing with the Texans.  Will be interesting to see where Denver goes from here.

Texans also got Lamar Miller.

Interesting. Kubiak probably has his eye on a particular guy for his system.

Shefter reports 4/$72M for Osweiler.  LaCanfora had said $16M/year range.  Heard nothing about how much guaranteed.

Wonder if all these big deals being signed might push the Ravens comp for KO down to a 4th.

I wonder if all these big deals might push the Ravens 2017 draft comp for KO down to a 4th?  Not 100% sure how it all works, but Osweiler, Jackson, and Jenkins have all gotten deals for more AAV than the $12M KO got.

$37M guaranteed for Osweiler.  There are 17 QBs who make $17M AAV or more (not counting Osweiler's new deal), but only Bradford (2/$35M), Stafford (3/$53M), Cousins (1/$19.9M), and Flacco (6/$$125M) got a higher percentage guaranteed than Osweiler's 51.4% and only 9 guys have more total guaranteed money.
